Sadie and Bubba’s story began in high school. They met for the first time at a football game their Junior year where they talked through the whole game. From that night on, they were inseparable—whether in person or on FaceTime, they always found a way to be together, which wasn’t always easy in 2020!

They spent their days studying side by side, making chocolate chip cookies, and getting gelato. One April night, after watching The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, they had their first kiss. A few months later, Bubba met Sadie’s family and asked her to be his girlfriend.

Senior year came, bringing homecoming, track meets, and late-night study sessions. They supported each other through it all—Sadie cheered Bubba on through his final track season, and he encouraged her as she built SadieB. In June 2021, they graduated together. Bubba took Sadie to prom, and celebrated with their first trip to Newport Beach together. That summer was filled with adventure—hiking, boating, golf, Vespa rides, game nights, and, of course, more gelato.

College brought change, but they faced it together. Both started business school at the University of Utah, navigating a new chapter while staying by each other’s side. Over the next year, they traveled to Zion, Jackson Hole, and California. Meanwhile, Bubba started the tradition of game nights of Skull King with Sadie’s family.

Their relationship grew through every milestone and every trip—whether it was another summer in Newport Beach, a visit to Maui, or an entirely new challenge. In 2023, Sadie left to study abroad in London. They reunited in Italy that summer, spending two weeks at the beach with Sadie’s family.

By the end of the year, they made a decision: when they got home, they’d start ring shopping. A few months later. In August, Bubba completely surprised Sadie with a proposal on the beach in Newport!

From a high school football game to a lifetime together, their story is just getting started. They can’t wait to celebrate on June 12, 2025, at River Bottoms Ranch with their friends and family!
